Antique Gettysburg commemorative souvenir dish by K&O Co., Kronheim & Oldenbusch, featuring a wonderfully detailed raised Civil War cannon and cannonballs surrounded by an ornate oak-leaf wreath. This substantial early American souvenir piece measures approximately 3.75 inches across and weighs 7.467 oz (approximately 211.7 g). The underside is marked K&O Co. MADE IN U.S.A. with the company\'s circular trademark. Finished in warm copper tones with decades of naturally developed patina, this unusual piece has tremendous character and would make an excellent addition to a Gettysburg, Civil War, antique souvenir or early American metalware collection.
Antique pre-owned condition with surface wear, scratches, oxidation, discoloration and substantial naturally developed patina consistent with age. Areas of green verdigris/oxidation are present, particularly within recessed portions of the design. The piece has been left in its existing aged condition rather than aggressively polished or restored. Please review all photographs carefully as they are an important part of the condition description. Some photos are enlarged to show detail; others show scale.
