This product is a collection of antique World War 1 books, containing historical and first-hand accounts of the war. These books would hold significant historical and collectible value, offering a unique perspective on the events of WWI. Perfect for collectors or those interested in military history, these books would provide a glimpse into the past and offer a deeper understanding of the war and its impacts on society.
Special note: I can't read French but I don't have to to know that these books are of the highest quality. They are large folio editions of a french magazine of the period called L' Illustration. The best information i have was a pice of paper that sorta tells what they are that was inside one of the covers I took a photo of it for you to see as well. This red Morocco leather is simply outstanding with the tooled gold guilt and all pages are also gold guilt. This books are quite large almost 16 x 12 inches and the thickest one is 2.5 inches.
Condition report: ware to the red leather on edges and high points of the spine. I found one general that was loos from the page but in good shape. Two have the page saving ribbon missing but two still have it. Thers a double page of a painting that is loose and I see no evidence that it was ever attached its like a poster or something similar.
Measurements are in the photographs and mentioned above briefly. Please feel free to reach out if you need more ill be glad to do my best for you.
