Item Description: An authentic antique straight razor manufactured by the renowned cutlery firm Wade & Butcher of Sheffield, England.
Maker/Markings: The tang is clearly stamped with "MANUFACTURED BY WADE & BUTCHER SHEFFIELD" alongside their traditional trademark arrow and cross symbols.
Handle & Case: Features dark handle scales (likely natural horn) and comes complete with its original antique storage/presentation box. Box is very worn and both ends are open. Condition:
The blade shows age-appropriate wear, patina, and minor pitting consistent with a vintage tool of this era.
The handle scales exhibit visible age-related cracking and stress near the pin and pivot areas (please review all close-up photos carefully).The Blade feels tight in handle when fully open but looser when opened half way "90 degrees"or less.
