The design features portraits of President Woodrow Wilson, George Washington, and the Marquis de Lafayette, along with the Statue of Liberty and a colorful border filled with American and Allied flags. The French inscription “Gloire Aux Américains – Souvenir de France” translates approximately to “Glory to the Americans – Souvenir of France.”

Condition: Very fragile antique condition. The silk has several tears/splits and weakened areas, particularly along folds and stress points. There is substantial age-related yellowing, staining, spotting, discoloration and creasing throughout. Despite its condition, the portraits, lettering, Statue of Liberty and colorful flag border remain clearly visible.
Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description. Sold AS-IS due to age and fragility. This 100+ year-old textile should be handled with great care and would be well suited for preservation, framing, or a WWI/history collection.
