Estate find, an Antique Victorian Photo Album, with a built-in Swiss Music Box Art Nouveau *AS IS*
Unfortunately, the music box IS NOT working, appears to be missing some teeth, etc.
The gears, flywheel, barrel, etc seems intact, movement is wound up tight.
There is a mounted key on the bottom.
There is a piece of old yellow plastic material that originally was stapled on the back cardboard to cover the music box. It is loose now.
There is also a Swiss factory label inside, near the movement.
The outside is covered with a velvet material, with a antique design, with brass(?) Trim/ latch. The bottom originally had 4 metal feet, but 2 feet are missing, so it sits a little crooked, and the winding key rests on the surface. You can reverse-screw the winding key if you want to remove it and store it elsewhere, but I left it so I wouldn\'t lose it!
The latch has a metal inside pull-down release piece that disengages it from the top cover piece( see pic).
There is a handwritten note on the cover page from a daughter to mom? written on Christmas Day Dec 25th, 1918.
There are 19- empty large (4x5) photo holders, and 16- smaller (2 x3. 5) ones. Most of them still have the brown paper backing in place a few of the larger ones are missing. The binding ( for the most part) is all intact!

The Victorian woman on the cover appears to be made of a celluloid material!
What a unique, and historical piece, you could add some antique photos, and possibly repair / replace the music box
Just sitting as a display item would also work!
