Antique UV Reactive Manganese Glass Cube Inkwell with Diamond Pattern on Lid For Sale

I am by no means an expert on glass. I am guessing that this glass has manganese because it glows green under UV light. In the pictures I am using a small cheap UV light in a completely dark environment.This beautiful inkwell was purchased at an estate sale that was full of items from the late 1800s to early 1900s. I cannot say for sure exactly when this item was made but it appears to be from the early 1900s. The beveled edges and square corners of the lid match the edges and corners of the cube. The inside lip of the lid is a bit rough which suggest it is an old piece. There is a fold in the glass that runs across the lid. The cube measures approximately 2.5" x 2.5" and weighs just over 1 pound.
