This is an antique deck of playing called Columbia Whist No. 133, manufactured by the United States Playing Card Company. This line if cards is a carry over from the National Card Company, who originally m printed the Columbia deck in the 1890s. After NCC was purchased by USPCC, some of their lines of cards were continued to be produced, such as this line. The Ace of Spades design stayed mostly the same as it was originally, but with the addition of USPCC \'s name added to it. Same goes for the joker.
This isn\'t a particularly rare deck, but it is rare to find it complete, with box and joker, in excellent condition.
All 52 cards are included are in excellent condition, as is the joker with the Palmer Cox famous \'Brownies\' pictured. The \'Brownies\' were used to illustrate a number of NCC jokers, and they were kept on being used by USPCC after the merger.
The box is also in excellent condition
