Antique TORRID electric iron manufactured by The Frank E. Wolcott Mfg. Co., Hartford, Connecticut – circa 1910s–1920s.

A wonderful example of early household electrification with original cloth-wrapped cord and detachable Bakelite-style plug.

• Original braided cloth cord (black with yellow pattern)

Condition:
Untested due to age and safety considerations. Sold strictly as a display/collector piece.
Shows surface rust, oxidation, finish wear, and age-related patina throughout (see photos). Cord remains intact and in good condition. Plug appears original. Fabric bag shows wear, a few holes, and staining consistent with age.
