Complete antique deck of "The Rocky Mountain Souvenir Playing Cards," published by Tom Jones circa 1900.
Deck Completeness & Condition:
• 100% Complete Set: Includes all 52 suit cards, the highly sought-after Joker (featuring the "Great Burro" artwork), and the original Index Card listing all geographic scenes. (Joker and index card have creases-pictured.)
• Card Condition: The cards themselves are in Exceptional, Crisp Condition. They feature incredibly sharp corners with almost no handling wear, creases, or heavy soil (one ace has bend on corner-pictured). They have a beautiful, light, natural age patina.
Box & Tax Stamp Condition:
• Original Box Included: Comes with the original two-piece telescope box.
• Box Wear (Please Note): The outer slipcase sleeve has suffered structural damage, has split completely down the side seam, and is missing one side (see photos). No repairs have been attempted, leaving the original paper clean for archival restoration if desired.
• Intact US Tax Stamp: Despite the box wear, the original Act of Aug 1894 2-Cent US Internal Revenue Playing Card Tax Stamp is still firmly affixed and fully readable across the front flap.
