Incredible Antique Solid Brass Coat ofArms Crest Shield with Crown, Lion & Flags 10 ¾” tall. This wonderful oldpiece features a Royal type design with a Crown at the top, an oval shaped Shield,with a Lion in the middle wearing a Crown & Flags. The Shield has a hole oneach side where it would mount. Just from the weight, I can’t imagine that thiswould have gone on a typical wall, more like stone – perhaps on a pillar. Thispiece is very heavy. Measures: 10 ¾” tall, 6 ¾” across the widest part & about5/8” deep. The Wonderful Coat of Arms Family Crest is in Very Good Conditionwith normal wear to the finish from use & age, verdigris & possible scratches.All expected with a piece this age. I don’t see any maker’s mark. Weighs 4 lbs. 5 oz. AmazingEstate Find!
