Schwäbisch Hall pewter flagon, Kingdom of Württemberg, first half of the 19th century. Spiral-fluted tapered body on three cast lion-mask feet, hinged lid with a dragon finial holding a crowned shield and script monogram.
Struck with the Württemberg three-mark guild system. The three marks on the handle (pictured):
- Württemberg state mark with three antlers
- Schwäbisch Hall town mark with the Heller hand and cross
- Pewterer\'s oval master touch with a hand and initials.
The hall\'s town mark beside the state arms dates the piece after 1802.
Condition: Overall good for age with wear. Please review all images.
