Antique S.W. Card No.4 Tap Handle Tap Wrench,19-3/16\",7/16\"-5/8\" Capacity,READ For Sale

For sale is this antique S.W. Card tap handle wrench, weighing3lbs. 1.8 oz., and measuring 19-3/16\" long, with a 7/16\"-5/8\" tap shank capacity. Signed \"S.W. Card Mansfield Mass. No. 4\" it is in good overall condition, and operates smoothly, showing heavy use and wear, more so on one side than the other, with no personal markings from previous owners. The movable jaw is not attached to the drive screw, as shown in the pictures, but will function perfectly when tightened to fit the tap shank size. The 5/8\" capacity can be a bit higher, but the maximum measurement that I have provided is when the movable jaw is fully engaged on the rail, without being in space without full rail support, so to speak. Any cleaning, oiling, and detailing is left up top you.
