Up for sale is an antique clear glass strap-side flask embossed \"Boston Trade Mark in Use Since 1868\" on the front panel, with an additional maker\'s mark embossed on the base attributed to S.S. Pierce & Co., the well-known Boston grocer and importer. This is a half pint size flask with the original rusted metal screw cap still in place (cap has not been removed, so contents/threads underneath have not been inspected). The glass shows light interior staining and residue consistent with age and prior contents, along with some surface wear typical of a bottle this old. A wonderful piece of Boston commercial glass history for the advanced or beginning bottle collector.
