Rare Antique RPPC Postcard Oxen Wagon Ride Leiser Germany Military Men in Uniform WWI - World War I
The real photo featured on this postcard appears to feature Germany World War One soldiers riding in an oxen cart. The back says "An Oxen Wagon Ride in Leiser."
What I like most about this postcard is how happy everyone looks in the cart. I also like that the "en" in the word "oxen" appears to be crossed out as if the writer of the message was unsure if the spelling was correct. If these are indeed WWI soldiers, even they needed some down time, and this is quite possibly how they spent one of those days.
Please inspect the pictures, as they give the best representation of condition. May have discoloring, edge or corner wear, marks, creases, fading, smudges, corner or edge bends, tears, or corners missing.
