Up for sale is a wonderful piece of fraternal history: an antique white kaolin clay tobacco pipe featuring the initials of the RAOB (Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes).
The bowl is molded with the distinct \"RAOB\" lettering near the upper rim on one side, paired with a matching decorative scroll/banner motif on the opposite side. It features a classic short spur under the heel of the bowl.
Condition Details:
The pipe is in beautiful antique condition with great patina from age. Please note that there is a visible hairline crack/fracture line on the stem near the 4-inch mark. The full length of the 6.5-inch stem is currently intact, flush, and holding together securely, but it should be handled with care due to the natural fragility of antique clay. Please review the high-resolution close-up photos carefully to assess the exact placement and condition of the crack or old repair before offerding.
