$50.00

Up for sale is a rare, complete matching pair of original, antique Pre-WWI U.S. Army Infantry Officer collar insignias representing the historic 2nd Infantry Regiment USA World War 1 Era Collar Insignias 2nd Infantry Regiment. This style dates roughly from the Spanish-American War period through the early 1910s uniform regulations.

Design & Features:

• Front: Classic stamped brass/gold-toned crossed rifles design featuring a prominent numeral "2" directly above the intersection.

• Reverse Mechanism: Designed for an officer's high-stiff standing service collar. Each piece features a central threaded screw post complete with its original round friction-lock clutch thumb nut Pre-WWI A Company 1st Infantry Collar Device.

• Patent Markings & Stabilizers: Both pieces feature dual anti-rotation stabilizing hooks on the upper rifle barrels designed to bite into uniform fabric to keep the device horizontal. The reverse side of the stock is clearly stamped with the historical manufacturer mark: "PAT. APPD FOR" (Patent Applied For).

Condition:

Excellent vintage/antique condition. The front displays a beautiful, untouched dark gold aged patina. The reverse sides show honest signs of age, including light verdigris oxidation around the solder points. The threaded posts and original backing nuts are fully functional and secure smoothly. Sold exactly as found. Please review the high-resolution photos for exact cosmetic details.
