Antique Danish ironstone café au lait bowl manufactured by the famous Petrus Regout & Co. in Maastricht, Holland.
Bowl has a lovely flow blue "feather" stick splatter design
Measures 5" across top & 2.75" across foot
Approximately 2.75" deep (stands 3" tall)
Clearly marked on the bottom. The inclusion of "Made in Holland" dates this specific piece to just after the 1891 McKinley Tariff Act, placing its manufacture in the late 1891–1910 window.
The interior bottom clearly shows the three original kiln stilt/spur marks from the firing process—a fantastic hallmark of authentic antique pottery production!
The rim has a few very tiny flea bites and some wear marks inside the bowl. Overall the bowl is a stunning example of very early pottery.
