Here we have a stunning, large antique porcelain wild game bird master platter/charger manufactured by Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf (P.M. Bavaria) in Germany, dating to the late 1890s or early 1900s.Measuring a generous 12.5 inches in diameter, this impressive piece features a beautifully detailed central motif of a wild grouse or ptarmigan perched in a natural landscape. The heavily molded, scalloped rim is opulently decorated with raised rococo gold scrollwork swags and delicate pink accent roses.In great condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Shows minor paint wear / gold guilt wear from time.The original factory maker\'s stamp on the reverse has worn away due to age, but this plate originally came with a set and this was the only one that was missing the back stamp.
