Antique Oregon City Woolen Mills trade blanket, showcasing a striking Native American inspired geometric aesthetic. The layout features a heavily banded structure divided into distinct, alternating horizontal zones. The primary base consists of a deep forest green, accented by horizontal bands of olive tan, bright yellow, and white block shapes. The entire piece is finished with a bright red binding. Three prominent bands feature a repeating chain of connected diamond motifs. The interior of each diamond is split horizonatlly into white and tan sections, framed with jagged, stepped yellow outlines. Alternating between the diamond rows are bands featuring stylized white shapes that look like minimalist arrowheads, steps, or geometric birds flanked by small tan accents against the green backdrop.
Distressed condition. Blanket has holes, moth grazing, stains, and deterioration of red binding. Black label is illegible and heavily frayed as shown.
