This archive offers a fascinating glimpse into the social history, fashion, and photography culture of the Østfold region (Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg, Moss) and high society Christiania (modern-day Oslo) during the Sweden–Norway Union era.
Instead of a random assortment, this collection was clearly kept together historically and features several of Norway’s most prominent, award-winning, and pioneering photographers.
