The Singing Birds pattern is attributed to H. Northwood Co. and was introduced circa 1912. The clear glass features molded birds, flowers, foliage, and scalloped forms, with striking blue-stained accents that make this set especially decorative. The glass also shows green fluorescence when viewed under a 365 nm UV light. There is no visible reaction under 395 nm UV. This type of 365-only fluorescence is commonly associated with manganese content in antique clear glass.
