Antique Niloak Mission Swirl Art Pottery Vase 12” Large Early Block Mark 1910s For Sale

Up for sale is a very rare beautiful, large 12 inch antique Niloak Mission Ware swirl vase featuring the highly sought after early impressed block NILOAK block font stamp signature on the base dating it from 1910 to the early 1920s. This stamp signature has the backward “N” . This impressive piece stands a full 12 inches tall and beautifully showcases the classic, iconic marbled clay pattern with the beautifully blended earthy tones of chocolate brown, tan, cream, and reddish terra-cotta. The exterior features the signature unglazed matte finish, while the interior retains its original glossy waterproof glaze. There are no cracks or post production chips. It does show minor signs of age and factory characteristics typical of early art pottery including a tiny burst kiln bubble/pop on the body. There are a few light scuff marks on the surface and a minor surface discoloration spot (all documented in the close-up photos). THhs is a beautiful display piece for any home or office area. Overall this is a very rare and highly collectible 1-foot tall example of Arkansas art pottery that displays beautifully.
