These were my Grandmothers when she was living in South Dakota, at Willow Lake, South Dakota. Grammy lived there till her mother decided life was too hard on the farms. The family had 3-160 acre plots that they farmed. Her mother sent her to Sheboygan to live with her sister, who was married to the Health Officer. Grammy had these packed up in a chest and she gave them to me when I was a teenager. I have had them in cedar chest ever since.The ties have been used well and look at the photos of torn ties. Grammy must have loved wearing these in the early 1900’s.
