Set of 6 antique porcelain cabinet plates on KPM Berlin blanks, hand painted in the Dresden manner with Watteau-style courting scenes. Each cream-ground rim carries a continuous landscape with four figural vignettes of 18th-century gallants and ladies in pastel silks: a trio making music at top, single figures fishing and strolling at the sides, and a courting couple below. The well is framed by a wide gold band and a scalloped gilt border of diaper trellis, acanthus scrolls, and raised beaded floral swags in heavy encrusted gold. Every scene is individually painted, so no two plates are identical.
Reverse marked with the underglaze blue KPM sceptre, impressed "KM" potter's mark, green "Germany" export stamp, and the retailer’s stamp of S. & G. Gump Co., San Francisco.
Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs found on any plate. Painted scenes are bright with no fading or rubbing. Raised gold is fully intact; the gold band shows only light surface wear from age and handling. Foot rims have faint stacking marks on the unglazed ring.
