Antique K&G Luneville French \"Old Strasbourg\" Soup Cup & Saucer Set (C. 1891) For Sale

This authentic, antique double-handled cream soup cup and matching saucer set was crafted in France by Keller & Guérin (K&G) Lunéville in the beloved \"Old Strasbourg\" pattern. The beautiful set features vibrant, hand-painted floral bouquets, tulips, and a deep burgundy-trimmed, scalloped border over an elegant off-white body. The bottom of both pieces bears the green underglaze crown stamp with the K&G Lunéville double circle and \"FRANCE\" below, reliably dating this set\'s production between 1891 and 1922.
The set is in very good, antique condition and uniquely features absolutely no crazing, which is rare and highly desirable for French faïence of this age. There is one small, minor paint chip on the upper curve of one handle, as well as faint, stray blue manufacturing paint smudges on the center interior of the bowl from the original artisan\'s hand-painting process. This soup and saucer set would make a lovely addition to any shelf, collectible cupboard, or table as a wonderful centerpiece! Wooden bee is not included and for staging purposes only.
