This is a very old and likely antique (over 100 years old) pressed flower book from Jerusalem. Includes around 10-12 pictures of the Holy Land (modern-day Israel) with accompanying designs made from pressed local flowers. Publisher is not stated, but text is in German, French, English, and Cyrillic, with Hebrew on the front cover board, which appears to be composed of olive wood. Despite the condition issues (stated below), I feel there is still value in this piece, even if that value must come from salvaging or repurposing parts of it.
Size:
Booklet is About 5.5\" long and 3.5\" tall
Condition:
Condition is poor overall. The binding at the spine is detached from the wood boards, and someone has applied scotch tape to keep it together. The front board also appears to be splitting down the middle (although it hasn\'t fully separated), and some of the original marquetry is missing. Finally, most of the pressed flower depictions are missing bits and pieces. The colored photographs appear to be in pretty good shape still, however.
