An intact, matching pair of 5-inch Japanese cloisonné cabinet vases from the Meiji Period (1868–1912). Features highly detailed wirework depicting floating butterflies and floral scrolls over a shimmering dark green goldstone (aventurine) ground. Both vases are in very good condition with only small blemishes, which I've done my best to photograph. Bases are unsigned counter-enamel, standard for the period.These were a gift from a collector friend, but they just aren't my style.Smoke free pet friendly home.
