This isa beautiful, authenticantique Victorian James Keiller & Sons Dundee Marmalade stoneware advertising jar.Manufactured in England during the late 19th century (circa 1885–1890s), this classic \"1lb thin / rolled shoulder\" crock features a sharp, crisp black transfer-printed label on the front highlighting the 1862 London and 1873 Vienna exhibition prize medals.The base features an impressed\"Maling Patent\"(C.T. Maling Pottery of Newcastle), who pioneered the machine-molded technique used to supply these iconic pots to Keiller. Of course, the lids were still tied on waxed cloth.Condition Details:
