DESCRIPTION
Wonderful Native American attributed Iroquois / Mohawk beaded pin cushion, ca. 1880. Great Lakes / Niagara origin. USA or Canada. Intricately beaded bird / dove, grasping a beaded feather. White, yellow, green, blue, and red floral designs in the corners. Purple velvet background, silk on the rear side.
CONDITION
Overall very good. Some missing beads around the edge. Somewhat faded purple background, with numerous pin holes from sewing use (all visible in the images). A FINE LATE 19TH CENTURY NATIVE AMERICAN BEADWORK PIN CUSHION.
