Antique Irish Setter Hunting Dog Pointer Sculpture 5.5\" Verdigris Finish Collect For Sale

Antique solid metal Irish Setter hunting dog, pointer sculpture. 5.5-inch piece by about 2\" tall. The sculpture features a detailed Irish Setter dog, pointing dog. Great condition other than a few chips off of the finish. All of this type and appearance i have seen for sale have been described as bronze, but really I think many if not all of this particular style were a nickle alloy and made with this very nice verdigris faux finish. A few chips on the legs and tale show the base metal and it weighs 7.5 ounces. Complete and very nice piece for its age.
