For sale is an antique straight razor made by Ibbotson, Peace & Co. of Eagle Works, Sheffield, England (blade tang is stamped \'IBBOTSON PEACE & CO / EAGLE WORKS / SHEFFIELD\'). This Sheffield maker dates to the mid-1800s, making this razor roughly 160 years old.
Condition: as-found, uncleaned. The blade shows patina and age spotting consistent with its age (see close-up photos). The dark wood scales are intact. The razor has NOT been tested for shaving and is NOT guaranteed shave-ready — sold as a collectible / restoration project.
