Antique IOGA Warwick Porcelain Hand Painted Portrait Vase A-17 1883-1913 For Sale

This stunning vase is an authentic Warwick China IOGA Art Nouveau cylindrical portrait vase. Manufactured in Wheeling West Virginia between 1893-1911. by the Warwick China Co.; This piece shows the signature transfer decal characteristics of this collectible series of a victorian woman wearing an ornate, beaded headpiece and delicate necklace. She is holding a single long stemmed flower up to her face. This vase is cylindrical with a wide mouth ruffled rim. It has the molded faux-twig double handles on the sides. The portrait fades into a high-gloss, deep toned brown to cream ombre glaze background. On the bottom of the vase is the Warwick makers mark with the word IOGA above the knight and is easy to see. There is a sticker that states Bouquet No. 2 and the code A-17 is written in red. The vase is slightly over 10" tall. It is in excellent condition although it does have some minor glazing, a paint chip (shown in photos) , and some of the gold trim on the rim has worn off. This is typical wear seen in pottery over 115 years old. Please look at all pictures before offerding. This piece will be double boxed and securely packed for shipping.
