Crisp cast iron castings with worn nickel plate finish featuring highly embossed scrollwork, vine and floral patterns from top bonnet to four footed base..Most pieces are embossed with \"HD 97\"..
Decorative finial top (missing top nut).. COOL FEATURES:
Top lid slides to the side which automatically opens top griddle plate - see pic..
Multiple tier cut out windows surrounding body, lined with original mica (some minor cracking and holes) so the fire can be viewed from all directions..Long nickled ash shaker handle is removable.
Original ash pan with nice designed cast iron ramps for ease of removal of ash pan..
Stove breaks down and assembles smoothly for easy mobility..These parlor heaters were disassembled in spring, cleaned and stored over summer in the wood shed, then reinstalled in the parlor for winter heating..A lot of thought went into this RARE and fine parlor stove..
