Antique H.L. Judd Co. No. 9776 Expandable Owl Book Rack / BookendsBeautiful early 20th-century expandable book rack featuring detailed owl and pine branch/pinecone designs on both ends.Attributed to H.L. Judd Co. and identified by the No. 9776 casting visible on the reverse. This Art Nouveau design dates to approximately the 1910s–1920s.Features two decorative cast-metal owl ends connected by telescoping brass-tone rods, allowing the rack to expand to accommodate books.Approximately 6¼–6½" wide x 4½" high at the decorative ends. See measurement photos for additional dimensions.Very attractive antique condition with original aged patina and expected surface wear/tarnish from age and use. I have not polished the piece.
