This listing is for an Old Vintage Hawkes American Brilliant Period Cut Glass "Queens" Pattern Large 14" Tall Champagne Tankard Pitcher. It features 3 vertical columns of diamond shaped hobstars with punty / honeycomb cutting between. Triple notched handle and 32 point hobstar base. I do not see a signature. I have only found 2 other examples and both were not signed. One is in Swan's book on pg. 216 (photo 6), and the other sold in 2019.
It is in good "As Is" condition overall. The handle has a crack at the top attachment and carries above the handle into the pitcher a little (photos 19-21). 2 larger but shallow flake chips to outer top rim at back above handle (photo 22). A couple tiny nicks to a hobstar and a small nick between punties near bottom (photos 23 and 24). Age appropriate shelf wear to base. No other notable issues. The spout and rest of top rim are perfect. The pattern is otherwise perfect. And the notches on back of handle are perfect. Still displays beautifully. Clean and shiny in and out with no cloudiness. Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description. *(White spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item).
It is big, heavy, and very fragile weighing 6.9 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. *(I have a UPS shipping option listed along with USPS. UPS is usually the cheapest for big and heavy packages. So if the shipping price seems too high just send me your zip code and I will take a look).
It measures 14 1/8" tall, 8 1/8" handle to spout, 6" at widest part of body near base, and 3 3/4" across sides of top rim.
