Offered is an antique Friedrich Mauthe (FMS) Vienna Regulator wall clock dating to approximately 1890–1910. This impressive German-made regulator features a richly figured walnut veneer case, ornate turned columns, decorative removable crest, original enamel dial with Roman numerals, multi-rod pendulum, and original winding key.

The movement is clearly stamped with the Friedrich Mauthe (FMS) trademark, identifying it as a genuine German regulator from one of Germany\'s best-known clock manufacturers.
The clock presents beautifully and retains its original character. The pendulum assembly features a decorative RA monogram insert and adjustment scale. The case displays attractive wood grain throughout and remains an impressive display piece.
The FMS stamp typically denotes production after 1875.Vienna Regulators\" were highly accurate clocks used by watchmakers to set their pocket watches. They evolved into statement pieces for wealthy homes, characterized by ornate pediments, glazed doors, and visible pendulums
The clock is currently running; however, the strike mechanism will require adjustment or servicing, as it cycles continuously when engaged. Because antique clocks are mechanical devices and often require setup, adjustment, cleaning, or servicing after transport, the clock is being sold in its current condition.

Pre-owned antique condition. Original Friedrich Mauthe (FMS) movement identified by maker\'s stamp. Includes pendulum, winding key, and removable crest/pediment. Clock is currently running and pendulum swings. Clock was observed operating; however, the strike/chime mechanism cycles continuously when engaged and will require adjustment or service.
Clock is running at the time of listing; however, it is being sold as needing adjustment/service. The clock does not currently keep accurate time, the strike/chime is out of synchronization, and the minute hand is slightly loose. One decorative finial has an old repair.
