This is a very rare combination of antique militaria from the United States Navy in the as 1907. The set includes a Fireside Game Company parlor game called, "The White Squadron." Originally published in 1896, this addition, however, came a few years after. The game is complete with 52 cards, each with a different photo of one of the Navy's most famous and intimidating fleets of ships nicknamed the White Squadron. The game includes 2 rare extra cards and the game's directions which are glued to the inside of the box cover. The cards are in excellent, antique condition. Feels like they've been examined by many over the years. No bends or damage to any of the cards or box however.
Included is a souvenir photo book, showing full page photos of ships from the White Squadron, with details listed on the opposite page about each ship. This booklet was published by the Woolson Spice Co in 1891 as a souvenir promoting their line of spices and also their Lion Coffee brand.
