Antique “Favorite” wooden barrel butter churn, made by Blakeman & Dobson of Decatur, Illinois. This turn-of-the-century churn features a hand-crank iron mechanism mounted to a coopered oak barrel with cast iron bands and sits on a sturdy wooden A-frame stand. The unit rotates smoothly. A beautiful piece of dairy history with rustic farmhouse charm.
