Up for sale is an antique French topographical postcard depicting La Fontaine d\'Arlette (Arlette\'s Well) in Falaise, Normandy, France. Legend holds that at this fountain, Duke Robert I of Normandy first saw Arlette (Herleva), who would become the mother of William the Conqueror. Published locally by C. Jeanne, édit.-phot., Falaise (Card No. 94).

• Condition Report: Excellent unposted antique condition. The reverse divided back is completely clean and unwritten (Carte Postale) with decorative typography.
