Antique F.B. Rogers Silver Co. silver-plated shaving/grooming stand with adjustable round mirror, ornate base and multiple grooming accessory holders.
Included are two vintage Colgate toiletry tins that make a great period display:
* Colgate’s Rapid-Shave Powder tin with original rotating dispenser top
* Colgate & Co. Éclat Talc Powder tin with original top
The stand is marked F.B. Rogers Silver Co., Taunton, Mass. The base and reverse of the mirror have an attractive engraved monogram.
This is an unrestored antique showing substantial age-related patina, tarnish, plating wear and surface wear. The vintage Colgate tins also show age, discoloration and finish/label wear. I have intentionally not polished or restored the pieces. Please review the photos closely for condition.
The mirror pivots in its frame and the overall piece displays very nicely. An unusual antique shaving/barber collectible, especially with the two period Colgate grooming tins.
