Antique English Wedgwood Glazed Blue Cheese Dome & Underplate Circa 1900 For Sale

Antique English Wedgwood cheese dome with underplate, circa 1900, in an unusual glazed finish. The rich cobalt blue ground has a lustrous glaze, decorated with crisp white applied relief — classical figures around the dome and ornamental borders. A substantial piece measuring 11"H x 11" diameter and weighing 9 lbs. No chips, cracks or stains. The glazed finish is uncommon for Wedgwood blue ware — a distinctive variant, possibly jasper dip. Beautiful for serving cheese or as a display piece.
