Antique Emperor Napoleon Mother of Pearl Letter Opener w Glass Stanhope For Sale

I am offering for sale an antique letter opener with a bronze figure of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte on top of the Imperial Eagle with a mother of pearl blade. The letter opener has a circular glass stanhope on the reverse side under the figure which shows 4 images relating to Napoleon. A stanhope is a tiny cylindrical lens with microscopic photos attached to it. It is named after Lord Charles Stanhope who invented a microscopic lens in the 19th Century. The images are: (1) aStatue of Napoleon Mounted on Horseback; (2)Tomb of Napoleon; (3) Napoleon Chezla Vieille (Napoleon at the old lady\'s house); (4)Napoleon Mort (Dead). Although the photos do not clearly show the images, they are clear when viewed through the lens. It is in excellent condition. It measures 5 inches in length.
