Original Vintage Antique McFadden Emeralite badged No 9 Daylight Banker\'s Desk Lamp. Base only, with original white porcelain double bulb socket. This is a weighted lamp with a heavy base, to prevent tip overs to protect a glass shade.

: Measures about 13 inches tall. The top has a standard slip on clasp for a glass shade. The knob switch at the base of the column clicks on/off firmly, not loose. Could easily turn this into a fully functioning corded table lamp. It will need a new cord to the wall outlet. Estimated era of manufacture 1920s or earlier. The actual Mcfadden catalog number for this was B.8952
