This striking piece is an antique cabinet-card studio portrait, circa 1900–1910, most likely a wedding or formal engagement portrait.
It is framed in an ornate antique gilt wood frame.
I come across many cabinet card photos and this one is incredibly captivating! A collector’s dream.
The woman’s high-neck white blouse/collar, Gibson-Girl style hair, small spectacles, and the gentleman’s high white collar, formal tie, dark suit, and curled mustache all point beautifully to the Edwardian era.
Beautiful condition with normal age. No rips or tears. Normal signs of age to the wood frame.
