Estate sale find. The frame is amazing!
Antique early 20th-century portrait photograph of an unidentified young man wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and tie.
The photograph is displayed beneath glass with a professionally cut gray mat, gold-tone inner trim, and a wide dark wood-grain frame. This appears to be a companion to the similarly framed gentleman’s portrait listed separately.
Approximate framed measurements: 18.5 inches wide x 22 inches tall.
No photographer, studio, date, or sitter identification is visible. Based on the clothing, hairstyle, and presentation, it likely dates from approximately 1900–1920, but the exact age is unknown.
Antique condition with scratches, scuffs, and finish wear to the frame. The back has aged backing material, exposed framing nails, remnants of old paper covering, and an older rope-style hanger with visible wear. The photograph has some surface spotting and age-related imperfections. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition. Sold as found.
