Antique EM Dickinson Sheffield Bowie Hunting Knife Stag Fitted Scabbard TR1984 For Sale

Excellent condition Rare E.M. Dickinson Sheffield Bowie Knife manufactured 1882-1895. 13\" OAL, 8\" blade. Excellent condition blade with light handling wear, stag horn handle is tight with no looseness, shows two tight hairline cracks at the guard area, at 10am and 2pm. Guard and pommel are also tight. Ricasso stamping: E.M. DICKINSON SHEFFIELD with the obverse side stamped, THE INVICTA on a scroll ribbon. This was the premium regulation company trademark.This comes with a beautiful fitted leather sheath, showing light wear with German Silver Steel chape and locket, notice these match the Knife guard and pommel. A beauty. FYI.. After 1900, Sheffield Knives were stamped ENGLAND below the SHEFFIELD marking. This one is not marked as such, placing date of manufacture to 1882-1895.
