Beautiful antique pressed glass bowl in the "Ribbed Spiral" pattern, produced by the Model Flint Glass Company circa 1899–1902. This is a classic piece of Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG), featuring vertical ribbing throughout the body and a scalloped, crimped rim with soft white opalescent edges fading into clear glass — a hallmark of this maker's opalescent glassware.
As is typical with EAPG from this era, the piece carries no manufacturer's mark; the pattern itself is the maker's signature, well documented among pattern glass collectors and reference guides.
Measures approximately 8.5" in diameter at widest, and 3.5/3.75" in height.
Checked under UV/blacklight: does not fluoresce green, confirming this is white opalescent glass rather than vaseline/uranium glass.
