Antique Dark Olive Green Glass Bottle For Sale

An antique dark olive-green or \"black glass\" bottle from the mid-to-late 19th century, commonly used as a squat beer, stout, or ale bottle (or potentially a whiskey bottle), dating roughly from the 1850s to the 1870s.• Color: Very dark olive green (often called \"black glass\"), which appeared black in thick layers to protect contents like beer or wine from light damage.
• Construction: Typically manufactured using a multi-piece mold (such as a 3-piece or 4-piece mold) with an applied top or blob lip rather than machine-made threading.
