Up for sale is a stunning, authentic antique Victorian porcelain fairing trinket box crafted by the famed German porcelain factory Conta & Boehme. This highly collectible dresser/vanity style fairing features a deep rectangular base with a fully figural, beautifully detailed lid.
The Design: The lid depicts a sweet young child or baby crawling across the top of a washstand/dresser toward a small plate loaded with colorful fruit. Behind the child rises a large, ornate sculpted oval mirror frame adorned with heavy hand-painted gold gilt scrollwork. The lower base mimics classical Victorian furniture paneling with green and gold trim.
Authentic Markings: The underside of the lid features the definitive impressed Conta & Boehme shield mark, alongside the distinct mold numbers 3506 and 176.
Dimensions: The inner base opening measures approximately 3 inches across (please review photos with measuring tape for exact dimensions).

This piece is in excellent antique condition with absolutely no chips, cracks, or post-factory structural repairs. The hand-painted colors remain bright and beautiful.
