Antique Cincinnati Bruckmann Brewing Co. Wood Beer Barrel Header Pre-Prohibition (most likely 1901 - 1919...)
The nice thing about this beer barrel antique, it is easily displayed and does not take up the room that a full or partial barrel would take up... a convenient and extremely rare piece of Cincinnati brewery history.Dimensions: Diameter 9 3/8 in. Thickness: 15/16 in.
Condition: Amazing that it is still intact. The three pieces of wood that make up this piece are held together by two wooded dowels between each section... and they are intact and hold the pieces together still... a little wiggle, but just amazing to be together after over 100 years. There are remnants of tape on the back at each joint... not enough to do anything but a reminder that at some time someone felt the need to tape it.
